\n\u201cBetter one handful with tranquillity than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Work isn\u2019t the enemy. Showing up, creating, pushing hard \u2014 there\u2019s deep meaning in that. But somewhere along the way, we stopped working for peace and started working against it. We didn\u2019t mean to trade purpose for pressure \u2014 but somewhere between the deadlines and dopamine, we stopped asking why and just asked what\u2019s next. Vision gave way to speed. Thoughtfulness drowned in efficiency. Rest became a problem to solve. We don\u2019t just do more now \u2014 we are what we do. And somehow, in all our momentum, we forgot how to stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ecclesiastes isn\u2019t anti-effort. It\u2019s anti-frenzy.
It\u2019s telling us: You can win the race and still lose yourself.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\nOne handful doesn\u2019t mean doing nothing. It means doing what matters \u2014 and letting the rest go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amid the noise of more, peace is a sacred refusal. Not the kind that shouts, but the kind that stays still while everything else runs. Peace isn\u2019t retreat \u2014 it\u2019s resistance, a refusal to be consumed. In a culture that worships noise, speed, and output, choosing peace isn\u2019t giving up \u2014 it\u2019s fighting back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
