Chapter 14 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Good Monday Morning to this 14th week of 2022 O God,<\/p>\n\n\n\n The news of again another war I haunts us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The stories are passed on daily even hourly<\/p>\n\n\n\n and the suffering and sorrow and senseless horror<\/p>\n\n\n\n fills the pit of our stomach and paralyses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The earth cries out for blood spilt<\/p>\n\n\n\n of one brother, one mother, one sister and one child. <\/p>\n\n\n\n How cries the earth over thousands!<\/p>\n\n\n\n O God,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, we bow our heads and weep<\/p>\n\n\n\n For what is lost<\/p>\n\n\n\n And unlearned lessons<\/p>\n\n\n\n And humanity\u2019s continued loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Breathe peace into the horror chamber of the heart<\/p>\n\n\n\n Breathe peace into perverse minds<\/p>\n\n\n\n Breathe peace into hands which violate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Teach us to respect and celebrate life<\/p>\n\n\n\n And life wrought through a wooden cross<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whereon shame is named<\/p>\n\n\n\n And Love\u2019s Power released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Peace to nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Peace to man, woman and child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Peace to all, O God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n For your Love\u2019s sake.
